The VMI analyst will work directly with the D&W sales team and the buying teams at Winn Dixie and C&S, providing sales support via management of warehouse inventory and demand planning. This position will be on a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence at Winn Dixie HQ in the Jacksonville, FL market 2-3 days per week
RESPONSIBILITIES- Daily management of warehouse inventory dating including identification of excess, close dated, or promotional inventory not on track to move through by last ship date
- Be available for daily window ~12:45PM-1:45PM EST to review store orders for demand tracking, allocating inventory, etc.
- Responsible for weekend coverage or preworking pallet on Fridays;
Demand Planning coverage for Sundays only available if requested & approved
- Promotional forecasting and weekly data entry of bookings
- Reference historical data from multiple databases and systems (external and internal to WD) to generate accurate forecasts and bookings
- Review current ad performance to adjust future ad bookings to avoid gaps or leftover ad inventory
- Daily collaboration with C&S Warehouse partner & retailer Winn Dixie
- Collaborate daily with C&S to adjust POs as needed to keep demand as close as possible without gaps or excess; weekly call to review reporting, ad concerns, or other callouts
- Biweekly calls with greater WD Demand Planning and C&S teams for service level callouts
- Communicate with suppliers for any supply issues or impacts
- Attend Demand Planning call every other Thursday to bubble up any specific concerns or receive business critical callouts
- Self starter and driven to deliver strong results

- Communicates a deep understanding of the business to our customers and upper management
- Continuously evaluates customer’s best interests and develops solutions that exceed expectations
- Anticipates business opportunities and challenges and drives long-term strategies while maintaining a focus on shorter-term objectives
- Works collaboratively and effectively with colleagues across multiple departments throughout the company
- BA/BS Degree required and at least 3-5 years of past successful inventory management, demand planning/forecasting experience or related analyst job experience
- STRONG Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Expert level Excel with pivot tables and V Look Up.
- Strong organized data analysis skills with ability to interpret and communicate trends
- Knowledge in internal inventory systems preferred; syndicated data tools a plus
- CPG industry experience strongly preferred
- Direct customer presentation experience preferred
- Proven success managing multiple objectives and priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to projects
- Strong communication, priority setting, and time management skills
- Attention to detail a must
- Hybrid working schedule to be inside Winn Dixie HQ at least 2-3 days per week; additional internal travel up to 10-15%
- Compensation range $55-$65k annually + 10% bonus structure based on key metric achievements
- Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit
