Childcare Platform Operations Specialist

Sittercity is seeking a dependable, tech-savvy childcare specialist to support our platform by ensuring safe, reliable matches between families and sitters. In this IT-driven role, you'll review sitter profiles, verify key safety criteria, and flag potential issues using internal tools and data dashboards. You'll collaborate with operations and product teams to improve matching algorithms, refine screening workflows, and provide feedback on user experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify sitter and family profiles for completeness and safety criteria
• Use internal tools and dashboards to monitor sitter-family matches and flag issues
• Collaborate with operations, product, and engineering to improve matching workflows
• Document and refine screening and escalation procedures
• Analyze profile and usage data to identify risk patterns and quality trends
• Support quality assurance testing for new platform features impacting safety and matching
• Communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of reviews, escalations, and resolutions
• Assist with user education content related to safe use of the platform
• Contribute feedback to enhance trust, safety, and user experience
