Join our innovative team as a Full‑Time Construction Plumbing Superintendent to lead plumbing projects, both indoors and outdoors, for a large‑scale ambulatory care center and dental clinic.

Location:

Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Mobilization in summer of 2026.

As a Full‑Time Plumbing Superintendent at RQ Construction, LLC in Guantanamo Bay, you will showcase innovative problem‑solving skills while serving military personnel, promoting teamwork, discipline, and project excellence.

Oversee and coordinate all plumbing and mechanical construction activities on project sites. Guide assigned crews and subcontractors, ensuring timely, high‑quality completion while adhering to safety standards and budget constraints. Uphold the company’s mission, vision, and values.

• A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required.
• Courses in construction management, plumbing trade school, etc. preferred.
• The ability to obtain or have a Class A Wastewater and Class B Drinking Water License.
• The ability to obtain or have a Med Gas Certification and familiarity with NFPA 99 (Health Care Facilities Code).
• Knowledge and understanding of IPC and ICC codes.
• Five or more years of work experience as a Plumbing Mechanical Superintendent running plumbing crews with project sizes of at least $1,000,000 (commercial or industrial).
• Three or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience with pressurized mechanical & plumbing systems is highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design‑build industry is preferred.
• Master plumbing license preferred.
• Computer literacy (Outlook) preferred (Training can be provided).
• Specific software literacy (BIM) preferred (Training can be provided).
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30‑hour Certifications, EM‑385, and STS required (Training can be provided).

All candidates must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at time of hire, and must pass drug screening, commercial criminal background check, and a stricter DoD background check for access to the job site.
