United Land Services (ULS) is a leading full-service landscaping company offering a comprehensive suite of commercial landscape installation and maintenance services. We handle projects of all sizes, from single-family home developments to commercial buildings and shopping centers. We are currently seeking an Estimator to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn the estimating industry while supporting key team members in completing project initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Identify the scope of the project and the resources required to complete the job.
  • Perform property measurements to determine completion time, labor time, and billing.
  • Assist in completing work proposals and bid forms.
  • Contact customers and/or vendors for additional information as needed.
  • Schedule site visits as required.
  • Meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Update bid documents and maintain office documents as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe, AutoCAD, Plotting, or blueprints is a plus.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Landscaping industry or construction industry experience
  • Ability to meet scheduled deadlines without sacrificing customer service or quality.
  • Ability to learn and retain a working knowledge of plants, trees, and industry-specific work materials.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with co-workers, office staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of relevant software, including Aspire, Hub Spot, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
