We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, onsite role responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects and supporting the bidding and project planning process.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate projections
- Track project costs and assist with budget control
- Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (commercial and/or residential)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local market pricing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL
- Competitive salary up to $70,000
