Location: Project Based - Locations Across The United States

Schedule: 50 Hour Work Week

Job Summary

The Sod Installation Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on‑site sod installation operations. This role ensures projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards. The Foreman leads the crew, communicates with clients and management, and ensures proper preparation and installation procedures are followed.

Job Description:
  • Supervise and lead sod installation crews on golf course construction projects
  • Read and interpret site plans and project specifications
  • Coordinate site preparation, including grading, soil preparation, and debris removal
  • Oversee sod delivery, staging, and installation
  • Ensure proper sod placement, seam alignment, and rolling procedures
  • Monitor irrigation setup and initial watering processes
  • Operate and supervise use of equipment (skid steers, sod cutters, rollers, compactors, etc.)
  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance
  • Train and mentor crew members
  • Track labor hours, materials used, and project progress
  • Communicate with project managers and clients regarding timelines and site conditions
  • Perform physical labor alongside crew when necessary
