Job Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to identify cost factors and potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
- Provide support in pre-construction planning and feasibility studies.
- Monitor and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and pricing trends.
- Participate in client meetings to present and explain cost estimates as needed.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Estimator should have:
- Proven experience in construction cost estimating within the property industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teams and clients.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience.
