TRAVELING SUPERINTENDENT - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

Construction Background & Experience with in Schools, Higher Education, Healthcare Preferred

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing K-12, higher education, healthcare, or medical facility construction projects while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule expectations.

• Manage daily field operations from project startup through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and site logistics
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestone completion
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies
• Work closely with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors
• Lead site meetings and maintain accurate field documentation
• Ensure quality control on all phases of construction

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects
• Proven experience with school and healthcare construction
• Ability to travel extensively for project assignments
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of scheduling software and construction management tools
• OSHA certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
