Site Manager, Operations Manager
Superintendent Responsibilities
Superintendent takes ownership of, and is responsible for, all field-related activities on assigned projects, and obtains successful cost results with respect to labor, material, and equipment utilization. These activities include, but are not limited to, safety, quality, schedule, project communication, planning, sequencing, site logistics, subcontractor, and client coordination.
Job Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of the electrical construction jobsite including labor, materials, and customer relations.
- Oversees and directs employees in their day-to-day work to ensure tasks are completed effectively and project goals are met.
- Manage all aspects of the jobsite including scheduling and laying out the work on a daily basis.
- Facilitates the development of work packages and daily work plans.
- Plans and develops crew sizes, equipment requirements, and task sequences. Keep daily log of job site records, employee tasks, employee attendance records, project milestones and other tasks and keep daily log of job site records, employee tasks, employee attendance records, project milestones and other tasks.
- Completes accurate and detailed Daily Logs, observations and documented weekly safety inspections. Significant focus is required to ensure delays are documented and project impacts are captured in the daily report.
- Inspects quality of work for compliance with plans, submittals, shop drawings and specifications.
- Reviews project submittals and specifications.
- Checks and verifies dimensions within the design drawings, and as related to shop drawings.
- Maintain First Aid and CPR certification
- Maintains an OSHA 30-hour course current within the past three years
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office.
Superintendent II
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of applicable construction experience with at least 3 years as a Superintendent.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
