Director of Construction

The Director of Construction provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all construction activities across the organization. Thisrole partners closely with executive leadership to establish the strategic direction of the construction division, drive operational excellence, and support the company's continued growth. With a focus on federal projects, you will lead project teams, mentor construction leadership, strengthen client relationships, and ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive construction management experience.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience overseeing multiple construction projects and project teams.
• Familiarity with safety requirements and federal agency construction standards.
• Strong understanding of construction operations, project scheduling, budgeting, estimating, quality control, and risk management.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety programs, and applicable federal, state, and local building requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and sub‑contractor relationships while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar professional certification.
• 10+ years of experience managing federal construction projects and government contracts.
• Experience supporting business development, client acquisition, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to scale construction operations into additional business segments
