Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment on water/wastewater, utility, heavy civil, or industrial construction projects.
* Proficiency operating excavators, telehandlers, skid steers, and wheel loaders.
* Experience excavating for underground utilities, piping systems, structures, and equipment foundations.
* Ability to safely work around personnel, existing utilities, structures, and active construction operations.
* Ability to read grade stakes, cut sheets, and construction drawings.
* Knowledge of excavation safety, trenching, utility protection, and equipment operating procedures.
* Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
* Reliable transportation to and from project sites.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding construction activities.
