We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team on water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects throughout the Jacksonville, Florida area. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, telehandlers, skid steers, rollers, and other heavy equipment used in the construction of treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
This position requires a strong commitment to safety, productivity, and quality while working closely with field crews and project supervision.

Minimum Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment on water/wastewater, utility, heavy civil, or industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency operating excavators, telehandlers, skid steers, and wheel loaders.
- Experience excavating for underground utilities, piping systems, structures, and equipment foundations.
- Ability to safely work around personnel, existing utilities, structures, and active construction operations.
- Ability to read grade stakes, cut sheets, and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of excavation safety, trenching, utility protection, and equipment operating procedures.
- Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Reliable transportation to and from project sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding construction activities.
