Residential Construction Estimator

A premier custom home builder is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Estimator to join its growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a respected Residential Construction company.

If you are a detail-oriented Estimator with a strong understanding of residential construction costs, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for delivering accurate, competitive bids, we'd like to hear from you.

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for luxury custom home projects.
• Review architectural plans, specifications, and engineering documents to develop complete project budgets.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and clients throughout the preconstruction process.
• Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining project quality and design intent.
• Maintain current pricing databases and stay informed on market trends and material costs.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and project planning efforts from concept through construction.

• Proven experience estimating residential construction projects, preferably luxury custom homes.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Experience preparing detailed estimates for projects valued at $5 million or more is preferred.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Stable, consistent work history within the residential construction industry.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Residential Construction Estimator or in a similar estimating role.
