Master Control Switcher - WFOX TV
WFOX TV Jacksonville is accepting applications for a Full-Time Master Control Switcher. Essential duties and responsibilities include quality control of all content being processed through master control systems, managing on-air and commercial breaks and content, maintaining on-air logs, recording multiple feeds from various sources, monitoring transmitters, and complying with all FCC and EAS regulations. Complete multiple tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
Minimum qualifications include knowledge of video operations, proficiency in computers and accurate data entry, working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook, knowledge of video servers and automation systems within a television environment, ability to plan ahead, troubleshoot and adapt to change with ease, detail oriented, ability to work flexible shifts to cover vacation/sick time, ability to work overtime if necessary, and excellent organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in television master control operations is a plus. References must be provided in writing.
Preferred qualifications include one year of broadcasting radio or TV experience.
