Location: Winter Garden, FL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Relationship Building
  • Exhibit consistent relationship building including preparing for customer interactions, building rapport, and effectively utilizing open and closed-ended questions to understand customers' financial goals.
  • Match customer needs to Seacoast Bank products and services, confidently explain products, and create/enhance relationships based on customer needs.
  • Ask for referrals from new and existing customers, exhibit good listening skills, and speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and requests, quickly seek appropriate people for complex matters, balance business needs with customer requests while managing potential risk.
  • Embrace new technology and remain up to date on industry changes to foster innovation.
  • Participate in community, charitable or civic events and collaborate with other associates.
  • Develop an introductory understanding of consumer deposit and lending products, outbound calling proficiency, and referral identification skills.
  • Observe presentations regarding banking products/services through networking events.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer-facing technology and enroll customers in self-service products.
Operations
  • Process checks, cash, and sale of negotiable instrument transactions per bank policies.
  • Ensure branch adherence to AML/BSA requirements, audit procedures, operational procedures, dual control, security, business continuity, and other regulations.
  • Help resolve customer concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and monitor work for accuracy.
  • Follow management direction to resolve customer objections and retain relationships.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct, safety, and security procedures.
  • May be assigned vault responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 months cash handling experience required.
  • Minimum 6 months previous experience in retail sales and/or financial services preferred.
  • Flexible schedule required with ability to work during hours of operations, weekends, and occasional non-bank operational hours.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with high initiative.
  • PC proficiency with Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Smartphone devices, and Microsoft Office Suite.
