Member Services Representative

Location:

Jacksonville (Norwood), FL 32208. Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front‑desk related activities, including answering phones in a friendly manner, checking members into the system, taking prospective members on tours, signing up new members, and assisting the Club Manager with drawer counts.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, completing daily assigned tasks within the first hour of the shift, assisting with the priority cleaning list, performing walk‑around and bathroom checks, and supporting special cleaning projects as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service skills, able to interact positively and professionally with members and co‑workers, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve.
• Diplomatic communication and appropriate behavior and language.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
