About the Position
Serve as the Supply Technician in the Material Management Contracting Department at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Florida.
This position will primarily work in an office environment in Central Supply and Receiving. Work hours are 0600–1430 with a 30‑minute lunch break.
Direct Hire Authority (DHA)This is a DHA solicitation utilizing DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) within the Department of the Army.
Who May ApplyUS Citizens.
Specialized Experience- One year of specialized experience which includes:
- Verifying the accuracy of purchase requests.
- Tracking supply materials using automated systems such as DMLSS LOGICOLE, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS).
- Assisting with expenditure and budget tracking.
- Four years of education above the high‑school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial, or technical school, junior college, college, or university.
Education and Experience
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position if the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. The percentage is calculated by dividing total months of experience by 12 and adding that to the percentage of semester hours of education beyond two years (semester hours minus 60 divided by 60).
