Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Jacksonville, FL, supporting a high-volume financial services call center. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people, resolving account issues, and working in a structured, performance-driven environment.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle inbound and outbound customer communications related to account inquiries, payments, billing updates, and delinquency resolution. You will receive structured training, work with supportive leadership, and have the opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance within 4 to 6 months. Key Responsibilities- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and efficiently in a high-volume call center environment.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, payments, billing updates, account changes, and issue resolution.
- Document customer interactions accurately and maintain complete account records.
- Explain financial and account-related information clearly while following company policies and compliance guidelines.
- Meet performance standards in a fast-paced, metrics-driven customer service environment.

Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for 6 weeks. - Regular schedule after training: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- No time off is allowed during the training period.
- Conversion opportunity based on performance, typically between 4 and 6 months.
- Provide customer support and account service calls.
- Process payments, billing updates, account transactions, and account changes.
- Resolve customer concerns while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance standards.
- Navigate multiple systems while managing high call volume and performance expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 plus years of customer service experience preferred.
- Previous call center, collections, financial services, or customer care experience is helpful.
- Strong verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain account and financial information clearly and professionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive customer conversations.
- Comfortable multitasking while using multiple computer systems.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in mortgage servicing, loan servicing, collections, banking, or financial services.
- Experience working in a metrics-driven call center environment.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused during challenging customer interactions.
