Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Phone Bank Operator for a one-month contract assignment in Jacksonville, FL. This role supports a high-volume phone bank environment, handling incoming and outgoing calls related to election office operations. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong communication skills, call handling experience, and a service-first mindset. The position offers a structured, team-oriented work environment with clear processes, onsite support, and the chance to contribute to an important public-facing operation.
Key Responsibilities- Answer a high volume of incoming calls in a professional, courteous, and accurate manner.
- Place outgoing calls as needed to support phone bank operations.
- Route callers to the appropriate department, contact, or resource based on their needs.
- Provide clear information while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Follow call handling procedures and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Escalate complex questions or issues to the appropriate team member or supervisor.
- Pay: $19 per hour.

- Handle high-volume incoming and outgoing calls.
- Route calls accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service in a professional phone bank environment.
- Support election-related call center operations in a timely and dependable manner.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant administrative, clerical, receptionist, switchboard, call center, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized during busy call periods.
- Comfortable following scripts, procedures, and call routing guidelines.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for a fully onsite Monday through Friday schedule.
- Must be available to begin the assignment by October 15.
- Previous experience in a call center, receptionist, switchboard, or phone bank role.
- Experience handling public-facing calls or providing information to a broad range of callers.
- Familiarity with high-volume administrative support environments.
