Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jacksonville, FL, for a Dental Hygiene Program Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Dental Hygiene program, including curriculum development, program accreditation, student recruitment, and retention. They will provide mentorship to ensure teaching excellence, and maintain compliance with accreditation standards. The Program Director will work to enhance the program's academic integrity, monitor student progress, and foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of dental hygiene education principles and program development
  • Experience with curriculum design, program accreditation processes, and academic policies
  • Strong organizational, and clinic management skills
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal abilities
  • Licensed or eligible to register as a dental hygienist or dentist in Florida
  • Master's degree in dental hygiene or a related field (doctorate preferred)
  • Commitment to fostering a dynamic and engaging educational environment
  • Prior experience in teaching, academic administration, or clinical practice is highly desirable
