Full Time Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental team while ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm

• Chairside Assistance:
  Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals)
• Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Patient Care & Communication:
  Greet and prepare patients for treatment;
  Review medical histories and update patient records;
  Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education
• Sterilization & Infection Control:
  Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines;
  Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments;
  Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments
• Administrative Support (as needed):
  Schedule appointments and confirm visits;
  Assist with billing, insurance processing, or charting;
  Maintain accurate treatment documentation

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• X-ray certification (Required / Preferred – depending on state regulations)
• Knowledge of Patient Management Software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
