Front Desk Receptionist

Myers Pediatric Dentistry Jacksonville is looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing pediatric dental team. As the first point of contact for our patients and their families, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, welcoming experience while keeping the office running smoothly. • Welcome patients and families with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Manage the provider schedule to maximize efficiency and patient flow.
• Check patients in, assist with registration, and notify clinical staff of arrivals.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and explain coverage to patients.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix.
• Scan and organize patient documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Prepare daily paperwork and forms for upcoming appointments.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
• Support the Office Manager with additional administrative duties as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dental office.
• Experience using Dentrix practice management software.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and dental office procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.

• Previous experience working in a pediatric dental office.

Full-Time

Monday through Thursday: 6:40 AM - 4:20 PM
