The Registered Dental Hygienist is a part time, on site role based in Jacksonville, FL. The hygienist will perform thorough dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines. Day to day responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, taking and recording vital signs when needed, documenting clinical findings, and collaborating with dentists on treatment plans.

The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and periodontal disease management, as well as supporting a comfortable and welcoming patient experience. The hygienist will follow infection control protocols, maintain equipment and operatory cleanliness, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the practice.

• Strong clinical foundation in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to support comprehensive treatment planning.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis procedures, including thorough cleanings and preventive care.
• Knowledge and experience in assessing and managing Periodontal Disease as part of overall patient oral health.
• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Florida, in good standing.
• Commitment to infection control standards, patient safety, and ethical clinical practice.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills, with a compassionate chairside manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team based environment and manage a consistent schedule.
• Experience with modern dental technology and electronic dental records; CPR certification preferred.
