The Opportunity:An established Florida-based commercial interiors and workplace solutions organization is expanding its architectural solutions and prefabricated interior construction business. We are seeking a technically credible, commercially minded market leader who can build relationships across the architecture, design, construction, commercial real estate, and owner communities and turn early project conversations into qualified opportunities.
This is not a traditional furniture-sales role. It sits at the intersection of business development, design, preconstruction, and project delivery. You will help architects, designers, general contractors, developers, owners, and end users understand where prefabricated interior construction can improve adaptability, coordination, schedule, and overall project outcomes.
You will join a growing business line with existing client demand and organizational support, while having meaningful influence over its market strategy, pursuit process, partnerships, and long-term direction.
What You Will Do:- Develop trusted relationships with architects, interior designers, general contractors, developers, commercial real estate professionals, owners, facilities leaders, and end users.
- Identify and develop project opportunities, creating a healthy pipeline across relevant commercial markets.
- Become involved early in planning, design development, and preconstruction to help shape system selection, specifications, scope, budget, schedule, and delivery strategy.
- Lead discovery conversations and translate design intent, technical constraints, and business requirements into viable architectural solutions.
- Discuss drawings, specifications, constructability, building systems, sequencing, code considerations, and trade coordination credibly with project stakeholders.
- Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, continuing-education programs, and other educational sessions for architecture, design, and construction audiences.
- Collaborate with design, estimating, project management, operations, and installation teams to develop competitive, executable solutions.
- Support pursuits from early opportunity development through proposal, objection handling, negotiation, and operational handoff.
- Represent the organization at industry events and in relevant professional associations.
- Monitor pipeline activity, market developments, competitor activity, and client feedback, translating that intelligence into practical growth recommendations.
- Help establish the repeatable processes, market presence, and team foundation needed to scale the business line.
- Meaningful experience in prefabricated interiors, demountable wall systems, architectural products, specialty construction, commercial interiors, or closely related building systems.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial construction, architectural design and documentation, and the design‑assist, design‑build, or preconstruction process.
- Demonstrated success in business development, market development, architectural sales, specification sales, or project pursuits.
- The ability to build credibility with both design professionals and construction stakeholders.
- Experience interpreting and discussing architectural drawings, specifications, proposals, budgets, schedules, and project requirements.
- Strong presentation, consultative selling,…
