RS&H is currently seeking an Experienced Architectural Associate to join our Corporate Practice in Jacksonville, FL.

As an Experienced Architectural Associate, you’ll join our Buildings team and play an important role in supporting the planning, design, and delivery of corporate workplace and other building projects. You’ll work alongside architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop creative, thoughtful solutions for a variety of clients.

• Support project teams through planning, design development, and construction document phases.
• Develop impact studies, cost analyses, design requirements, and site selection studies.
• Lead and support data collection efforts, research, and project investigations.
• Prepare portions of project documents, drawings, visual aids, presentations, and other design materials.
• Assist with the development and coordination of construction documents.
• Edit and contribute to specifications, discipline reports, and other project documentation.
• Research applicable building codes, zoning requirements, fire regulations, and other governing ordinances.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project team members to support successful project delivery.
• Contribute to multiple projects and assignments while maintaining quality, accuracy, and established project schedules.
• Continue developing technical, design, and project management skills through hands-on project experience.

This position will support an experienced team of Corporate Workplace and Healthcare design professionals providing creative and comprehensive architectural services to a diverse range of clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program and at least three years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of state and local building codes, zoning requirements, fire regulations, and other applicable ordinances.
• Proficiency with architectural production software and construction document production.
• Professional experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to shifting project priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A passion for architecture and a desire to continue learning and growing professionally.

• Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
• NAAB-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Enrollment in the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP/IDP).
• Eligibility to sit for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE).
• Experience working on corporate workplace, commercial, healthcare, or other complex building projects.
