Compensation: $125,000+ annually based on experience

Ally Psychiatry is seeking dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PA-C) to join our growing team in the Jacksonville, Florida market
.

This is a full-time, hospital-based opportunity caring primarily for an adult inpatient psychiatric population
. The position may also include coverage within Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs.

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of the psychiatric treatment team, you may:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
  • Complete daily inpatient rounds
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic psychiatric conditions
  • Provide psychopharmacological treatment and medication management
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Manage admissions, ongoing care and discharge planning
  • Collaborate closely with the attending psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team
  • Communicate with families, caregivers and outpatient providers when appropriate
  • Support PHP or IOP programming based on patient and program needs
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Promote safe, compassionate and recovery-focused care
Previous experience in inpatient psychiatry, acute behavioral health, crisis stabilization, PHP or IOP is strongly preferred. What we offer

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
  • Active DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to complete required credentialing, background checks, and hospital or insurance enrollment
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, behavioral health treatment, or mental health services preferred
  • Inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, or telepsychiatry experience preferred depending on the position
  • New graduates may be considered for select roles with appropriate psychiatric training and clinical experience
