Catholic Nursery Caregiver

We are seeking a part‑time Nursery Caregiver to work 13 hours per week in a classical and Catholic classroom for the 2025‑2026 academic year. This in‑person, on‑site position is located in Jacksonville, FL and does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience; we will train you as needed.

Regina Caeli Academy ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) is a classical homeschool academy rooted in the Catholic tradition. RCA offers tutoring in a Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays, with hourly positions and on‑site nursery support for staff. Vacation and holy days are listed on the academy website; no additional vacation days are provided beyond sick‑day accommodations.

The caretaker will assist in a classroom setting, support child care and nursery duties, and adhere to the academy’s curriculum and grading guidelines.

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith and lived practice of the faith, including receipt of sacraments appropriate to life stage.
• Strong communication skills, organization, and timeliness.
• Traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Experience with homeschool children, ministry, Catholic parish, Religious Education or Catechism, own children, or related settings is preferred (not required).

All staff complete a background check and mandatory training. The Academy’s hours are Mondays and Thursdays only, 8:30 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
