Adjunct in Environmental Science​/Studies

Position:
Temporary (OPS) Faculty – Environmental Science/Studies (part‑time).

General

Purpose:

Teach undergraduate courses in Environmental Science/Studies, as assigned by the department.

• Teach assigned course(s) following the approved syllabus and schedule.
• Hold scheduled office hours as negotiated with the program director and department chair.
• Use a Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas) for course delivery.

Adjunct faculty are paid a minimum of $1,000 per credit hour.

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a closely related field.
• Work/teaching experience in the discipline.
• Valid background check.

• Doctorate with at least two years of college‑level teaching experience.
• Experience teaching on a Learning Management System such as Canvas.

• Current résumé (or curriculum vitae).
• Cover letter.
• Names, phone numbers, and email addresses of three professional references.
• Official transcripts (and U.S. degree equivalency evaluations, if applicable) documenting the conferral of qualifying academic credentials.
