Elementary Teacher - Kindergarten

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Kindergarten Elementary School Teacher that is positive and dedicated to instruct students for the  school year. Our ideal candidate will create a nurturing learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum goals.
• Deliver engaging instruction across subjects: literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
• Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support and small group instruction for students needing extra assistance, including those with special education needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and school-wide initiatives such as PBIS.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavioral concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching certification for elementary grades required.
• Proven classroom experience working with children in grades K-2 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers or new teachers and contribute positively to school culture. This position is ideal for educators committed to fostering academic excellence while supporting the holistic development of their students in a dynamic learning environment.
