Urgently Hiring:
Special Education Teacher
Jacksonville | 2026–2027 | Full Time (On-Site) | $60,000–$80,000
We’re urgently hiring Special Education Teachers across Jacksonville to support some of the region’s most inclusive, student-centered public charter schools. These teams prioritize high-quality IEP practices, individualized instruction, and school cultures where teachers are supported, respected, and empowered.
What You’ll Do- Lead specialized instruction for students with diverse and intensive learning needs
- Build structured, predictable, and joyful classroom environments
- Collaborate with general education teachers, behavior teams, and paraprofessionals
- Use data to drive progress toward IEP goals and ensure truly individualized supports
- Low-Incidence Special Education Teachers (Elementary, Middle & High School)
- High-Incidence Special Education Teachers
- Content Specialists (Math + ELA) supporting Special Education teams
- Florida teaching certification (Special Education EC–12 or appropriate SPED certification)
- Jacksonville area residency
- Background check clearance
$60,000–$80,000
, depending on experience and education (direct hire with school partner). Benefits included.
