Job Description

To build a community that seeks to glorify God by leading this generation of students to both discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ and make disciple‑making disciples through relevant and engaging ministry environments and relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Eleven
    22 Students at the campus level:
    Oversee, run, and teach Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings at the campus location.
  • Set the strategy for student ministry at the campus based on guidelines for worship, small groups, events, and follow‑up systems.
  • Contribute to the teaching team on a monthly basis (led by Central).
  • Engage students and serve staff on a weekly basis.
  • Implement Eleven
    22 Students next‑steps plan at the campus location.
  • Serve staff and care for student ministry staff at the campus location; consistently communicate with them.
  • Recruit serve staff and team leads as needed at the campus location.
  • Implement and create training to equip serve staff at the campus location.
  • Student connections and next steps:
    First‑time guest follow‑up—sending letters, giving out first‑time guest gift, collecting info, etc.
  • Develop students to reach their schools; attend school lunches, sports games, and other events for local schools.
  • Follow up with students who make ‘next step’ decisions (salvation, baptism, serving interest, student leadership, care, and prayer needs).
  • Launch, lead, and facilitate a student leadership program at the campus location.
  • Implement a plan to engage new students, invest, and invite.
  • Create environments outside of Wednesday/Sunday for fun and serving opportunities.
  • Other responsibilities:

    be present—except during Sunday middle‑school service times—at the campus location services for care, response, and student ministry needs.
  • Partner with parents for discipleship at the campus location.
  • Assist Central team in planning, ideation, and implementation of big events for Eleven
    22 students and for The Church of Eleven
    22 as needed.
  • Lead interns and/or other staff based on campus location size when needed.
Competencies

  • Strong proactive communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Two years of experience working with students.
  • Ministry experience preferred.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
  • Full‑time exempt position with varying hours and workdays, including weekends.
  • Mandatory participation in the church’s big events (e.g., "All Skates") throughout the year; attendance may vary depending on the vision cast for the current year.
  • Staff called to action to continue being a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Work Environment
  • Professional office environment; also retreats, camps, mission trips, etc.
