Job Summary
Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate High School Spanish Teacher to provide standards-based instruction and support student achievement in world language acquisition. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, immersive classroom environment that develops students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Deliver standards-aligned Spanish instruction for high school students
- Develop students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Incorporate cultural understanding to enhance language learning
- Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff
Participate in professional development and school meetings
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Spanish (6–12) or related certification
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- ESOL Endorsement
Monday through Friday – 8-hour shift – In-person position
