Position Summary

University Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered Dean of Students to provide leadership in student discipline, school culture, attendance, and student development. The Dean of Students works closely with students, parents, faculty, and administration to foster a safe, positive, and Christ-centered learning environment that supports academic excellence, character development, and spiritual growth.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee student discipline and behavior management.
• Promote a positive school culture and student accountability.
• Monitor student attendance and address attendance concerns.
• Meet with students and parents regarding behavioral and disciplinary matters.
• Support faculty with classroom management and student interventions.
• Assist with campus supervision, student safety, and school events.
• Maintain discipline and attendance records.
• Serve as a positive Christian role model and mentor to students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required;
  Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a school setting.
• Previous experience in educational leadership, administration, counseling, or teaching preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to the mission and Christian values of University Christian School.
• Active Christian faith and ability to serve as a spiritual role model.
