Job DescriptionTEACHER STARTING SALARY IS $48,700. Additional Referendum money is available for the next two years starting at $7,730 for the 26-27 school year; teachers hired during the school year will receive a prorated supplement amount based on the date of hire.
Job Summary
Implements the Duval County Code of Student Conduct at the school level. Problem solves with students, parents, and teachers regarding disciplinary issues. Supervises attendance procedures and student conduct. Plans and implements programs and procedures for the elimination of disciplinary problems.
Essential FunctionsEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Two (2) years teaching experience. Strong experience in behavioral intervention and management techniques preferred.
Certifications & Licenses: Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate in appropriate subject area.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- In depth knowledge of behavioral intervention and management techniques and methodologies
- Knowledge of federal, state and district legislation, policies and standards related to disciplinary program management
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong word processing and presentation software skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, principals, and District staff
- Ability to assist Principals and support staff in achieving expected outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to facilitate meetings effectively
- Ability to implement continuous improvement processes
- Ability to collaborate with parents, principals, teachers, and school staff

Salary: $48,700 to $74,491 Per Year
