Job Overview
Private music instructor (primarily guitar) for Taylor Robinson Music in Jacksonville, FL. Independent contractor, part‑time or contract.
CompensationHourly rate: $20–$30, based on travel time, experience/education, and student retention.
Schedule & Locations- Lessons conducted in student homes, instructor's home, studio, or via webcam (webcam lessons are rare).
- Must be local to Jacksonville, FL and willing to travel to students.
- Deliver private guitar lessons, tailoring curriculum to student needs.
- Create lesson plans and maintain consistent, punctual attendance.
- Communicate professionally with students and the office.
- Coordinate scheduling and billing through company systems.
- Follow COVID‑19 precautions: mask use, hand sanitization, social distancing as applicable.
- Willingness to teach private guitar lessons.
- Either a music degree, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
- Organized, reliable, and punctual.
