Schedule:

7:45AM to 4:15PM, Monday thru Friday in keeping with academic schedule.

Primary purpose:
To provide on campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds; ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior; prepare and follow class appropriate lesson plans. Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress, working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success; strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have one of the following:

• Previously taught in a Florida public or private school for 3 or more years or;
• Bachelor's degree (4 years from an accredited university)

Benefits/compensation:
Benefits and compensation include:

• Base salary is negotiable between $38,000 - $41,000, a year (prorated based on start date)
• Participation in 403(b) retirement plan is available immediately, upon hire
• Employer matching contributions towards retirement plan, after 1 year of employment
