KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is part of this network, serving more than 3,000 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade in the North and West sides of Jacksonville, Florida.

In the school year, the KIPP Jacksonville region will be comprised of four schools.

Kindergarten – 8th grade - KIPP Bold City High School
: 9th – 12th grade
Standard school hours are Monday through Friday with occasional meetings or special events outside of these hours. Every Wednesday is a student early release day, allowing teachers to participate in professional development and team meetings.

: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
K‑8 Students
: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (Wednesday dismissal at 1:30 pm) - High School Staff
: 6:45 am – 3:45 pm
High School Students
: 7:15 am – 2:30 pm (Wednesday dismissal at 12:30 pm)
As a High School Math Teacher at KIPP Bold City High School, you will:
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment for 9th–12th grade students
Bold City High School is located on the McDuff campus at 1440 McDuff Avenue North. The school offers honors, Advanced Placement, and career/technical pathways, and plans to add more tracks as the program grows.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package commensurate with experience.
- Starting salary for a first‑year lead teacher: $50,000

Additional stipends may be available for New‑to‑KIPP instructional staff and other opportunities, subject to certification status and annual review.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant Florida teaching certification or eligibility (Math 5‑9 or Math 6‑12)
- At least one complete year of teaching experience with a record of high classroom achievement
- Pass a background check as required by law (Florida House Bill 531)
- Commitment to an inclusive, healthy, and empowering community for students
Preferred Qualifications
- Florida Reading Endorsement or coursework in progress
- ESOL Endorsement
- Two or more years of secondary teaching experience with a record of high achievement
