POSITION: 2nd Grade Teacher

POSITION STARTS:
Monday, July 27, 2026

SCHEDULE:

7:45AM to 4:15PM, Monday thru Friday in keeping with academic schedule.

PRIMARY

PURPOSE:

To provide on campus, classroom instruction for elementary school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include:

providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds; ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior; prepare and follow class appropriate Lesson Plans.

REQUIREMENTS:
Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress, working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success; strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.

Applicants must haveoneof the following;

• Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School for 3 or more years or;
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years from an accredited university)

• Base Salary is negotiable between $37,500 - $40,000, a year
• Participation in 403(b) Retirement Plan is available immediately, upon hire
• Employer Matching Contributions towards Retirement Plan, after 1 year of employment
