Responsibilities
Teaching load equivalent to four 3-credit courses each fall and spring. Courses taught may include:
Applied Tuba, Applied Euphonium, Mixed Chamber Ensemble, Brass Choir, Intro to Music Literature, Music Appreciation, and electives in the candidate's area of expertise.
Report to the Department Chair; no supervisory duties.
QualificationsMinimum:
Master’s degree in music performance or equivalent, or bachelor’s degree in music with substantial professional experience in Tuba/Euphonium performance.
Preferred:
Doctorate in music with advanced training in Tuba/Euphonium performance and college teaching experience.
