General Description / Primary Purpose
The Department of English is seeking a 9‑month, non‑tenure earning Visiting Instructor of English. Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load or its equivalent, and service.
SupervisorThis position will report to the Department Chair.
Working HoursVaries
Supervision ExercisedThis is not a supervisory role.
Required Qualifications- Earned a Master of Arts in English, or comparable graduate degree
- Teaching experience at the university level, or equivalent experience preparing curriculum and planning
- Experience teaching a variety of college‑level writing courses in the first year
- Technical and professional communications
- Literature or theater coursework
