Instructor, Construction Management

General Description / Primary Purpose

The Department of Construction Management is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Instructor of Construction Management. Position responsibilities include 4/4 teaching load or its equivalent, and service.

This position will report to the Department Chair.

This is not a supervisory role.

The position is expected to begin on August 2, 2027.

• Masters degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability and track record to instruct undergraduate students in the field of construction management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience in subjects such as computer applications, construction management, and capstone projects.
• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in construction management.

This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check. The holder of this position is designated as a Responsible Employee pursuant to their role under Title IX.
