Salary: $48,700 to $78,900 per year (includes $7,730 additional referendum money for years 2026‑27; prorated supplement for mid‑year hires)

Job Summary

Guides the learning process toward achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media, consistent with classroom limitations and student needs, to implement the district’s philosophy of education and instructional goals.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: None required; salary is based on verified years of teaching experience.

Certifications & Licenses: Must be eligible for Florida Department of Education certification in the appropriate subject area.

• ESE Certified Behavior Analyst: 3 years of teaching or work experience with students on the autism spectrum and/or students with behaviorally complex needs; board certification as a Behavior Analyst and Florida Department of Education teaching certification in at least one area of Exceptional Student Education, Guidance and Counseling, or School Psychology.
• ESE Intervention Representative: 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience in exceptional student education or a combination of exceptional/regular education; background in behavior management recommended;
  Florida Department of Education certification in at least one area of Exceptional Student Education, Administration/Supervision, or Educational Leadership.
• ESE Lead: 3 years experience working with students with disabilities; eligibility for Florida Department of Education certification in appropriate subject area.
• ESE Site Coach: 3 years experience working with students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities/Autism; certification in at least one area of exceptional student education and one area of a core content area or K‑6 certification.

• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
• Ability to plan and implement a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students
