Nutrition Fall Adjunct

Position Summary

Part‑time adjunct faculty position in the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of North Florida. The role is seasonal, semester‑by‑semester, with no tenure‑earning status.

• Teach assigned courses in Nutrition, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives.
• Hold regular office hours to provide academic support and guidance to students.
• Maintain effective communication with students, addressing inquiries and providing timely feedback.
• Adhere to department guidelines and procedures, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.

Part‑time work schedule varies. Adjunct faculty are compensated $1,000 per credit hour.

• Master’s degree in nutrition or a closely related field.
• Previous teaching experience or relevant work experience in the field.
• Registered dietitian credential (preferred).

• Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) or PhD in Nutrition or related field.
• Experience teaching online courses.
• Experience as a preceptor for students in the field.
• Expertise in food service management, counseling, nutrition and metabolism.
