Manager, Commercial Development

• Lead the development and implementation of training programs focused on Strategic Account Management and the Management Development program

• Ensure training plans enhance core skills, competencies, and commercial excellence

• Align with the board and engage Commercial Directors to establish priority skills and competency training

• Facilitate virtual and hands-on training

• Adapt peer-led Commercial Skill Academies content to organizational goals

• Design personalized learning journeys using Learning Technology platforms

• Track trainee progress and enable data-driven development

• Incorporate content, best practices, and innovation into customized leadership programs

• Monitor training effectiveness and refine content and delivery based on feedback and performance metrics

• Stay current with sales and marketing leadership development trends and foster innovative learning approaches

• Collaborate with Commercial Training and Development and leaders across functions

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
• Sales Leadership experience preferred
• Marketing experience preferred
• Experience in commercial development, coaching, or training preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial roles, sales strategies, and marketing dynamics within healthcare/pharmaceutical or related industries
• Hands-on experience working directly with Sales and Marketing leaders at multiple levels
• Experience leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning technologies preferred
• Experience managing and mentoring commercial resources or teams
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to design and deploy customized leadership development programs
• Strategic, proactive, and hands-on approach
• Ability to build strong relationships across functions
• Innovative and adaptable use of technology to enhance learning experiences
• Passion for developing high-potential leaders in sales and marketing
• Ability to travel approximately 15–25% as needed

Proven ability to enhance commercial skills and competencies while fostering strong relationships across functions.
