Position: Education/Training Spec II - Dean's Office (Medical Education Research)

UF College of Medicine is hiring a Medical Education Research and Scholarship Training Coordinator. The role involves coordinating the planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical education programs and faculty development workshops, managing mentorship programs, facilitating NBME test administration, ensuring ADA compliance of educational materials, and collaborating with internal and external partners to support medical education research and scholarship initiatives.

Highlights
  • Coordinate in-person training programs including faculty development workshops, bootcamps, and academies.
  • Design and manage mentoring and coaching programs, including recruitment, training, and outcome tracking.
  • Serve as Chief Proctor for NBME test administration for medical students.
  • Manage ADA-compliant educational access points and learning management systems such as Canvas.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and multiple departments across the College of Medicine and affiliated sites.
  • Use assessment tools and data to evaluate and improve educational programs.
  • Required skills include presentation software, adult learning theory, training needs analysis, LMS, and familiarity with ADA Title II.
  • Preferred qualifications include Master’s degree, proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Forms, Qualtrics, graphic design tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva), and multimedia/video editing software.
  • Experience with social media or digital communication for educational outreach preferred.
  • Knowledge of UME/GME accreditation, competency-based medical education, instructional design, and educational scholarship is a plus.
