4th Grade Elementary Teacher – Christian School

A Christian school located on the Westside of Jacksonville is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 4th Grade Elementary Teacher. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, structured, and nurturing classroom environment while supporting students’ academic, social, and spiritual development.

• Plan and deliver effective instruction in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and Bible.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, assessments, projects, and classroom participation.
• Maintain effective classroom management and encourage respectful behavior.
• Differentiate instruction to meet students’ various learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and school leadership regarding student progress.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and student records.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school programs, and special events.
• Model professionalism, integrity, compassion, and Christian character.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Florida teaching certification preferred but not required.
• Previous elementary teaching or classroom experience preferred.
• Strong classroom-management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to integrate Christian principles into classroom instruction.
• Commitment to the school’s Christian mission, values, and statement of faith.
• Must successfully complete all required background screening.
