Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and student-focused Certified Middle School Science Teacher for one of our partner schools located on the Northside of Jacksonville.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for science education and the ability to create an engaging classroom environment where students can explore scientific concepts, develop critical-thinking skills, and achieve academic success.

• Provide effective instruction in Middle School Science
• Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
• Incorporate hands-on activities, demonstrations, and inquiry-based learning when appropriate
• Differentiate instruction to address varying student learning needs
• Monitor and assess student progress and use data to guide instruction
• Prepare students for applicable state and school assessments
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and required student documentation
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Current Florida Teaching Certificate Or Statement Of Eligibility Preferred/required
• Certification appropriate for Middle Grades Science or Science
• Strong knowledge of middle school science concepts
• Previous Classroom Teaching Experience Preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners
• Commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
