Assistant Vice President/Chief Advancement Officer Northeast Florida Region

The University of Florida and UF Health are seeking an Assistant Vice President/Chief Advancement Officer, Northeast Florida Region who will build and oversee a comprehensive philanthropy program for UF Health Northeast. Based in Jacksonville, FL, they will oversee development, grateful patient fundraising, annual giving, stewardship, capital projects, and Children's Miracle Network programs for UF Health’s Northeast units, including UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health St.

Johns, and UF Health Durbin Park.

UF Health Northeast includes two hospitals: UF Health Jacksonville on its downtown campus and UF Health North in north Jacksonville, as well as numerous physician practices, clinics and urgent care centers throughout the region. As a safety-net hospital, UF Health Jacksonville plays a critical role in the community by providing care to the uninsured and underinsured every day to elevate the health of the region and decrease disparities in health care access.

As UF prepares for its next comprehensive campaign, you will have an opportunity to help position UF Health Jacksonville's priorities within the university's broader philanthropic effort. Your ability to collaborate across institutions, align fundraising strategies and create a cohesive donor experience will be essential. We are looking for a leader who understands that the best development work begins with listening to an institution's aspirations and helping donors see their place in achieving them.
