Are you a Resource Planning professional with strong PLEXOS experience, looking to take on a highly influential role within a leading utility organization?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established energy organization where you will play a key role in long‑term generation planning, resource adequacy, capacity expansion, and executive‑level investment decisions.

As they continue to plan for future generation requirements and an evolving energy mix, they are looking for an experienced Resource Planning Consultant to become a technical expert within their team.
In this role, you will lead advanced modeling activities using PLEXOS, supporting production cost modeling, capacity expansion studies, portfolio optimization, and long‑term resource planning. Your analysis will directly support strategic decisions, regulatory filings, and future investment across conventional generation, nuclear/SMR, solar, battery storage, and emerging technologies.

The Role:- Lead resource and generation planning studies using PLEXOS
- Develop, maintain, validate, and run production cost and capacity expansion models
- Evaluate future generation options including conventional, nuclear/SMR, solar, battery storage, and emerging technologies
- Produce technical analysis and executive‑level recommendations to support long‑term strategy and regulatory filings
- Strong hands‑on PLEXOS experience is required
- Experience with in resource planning, generation planning, production cost modeling, or capacity expansion
- Experience with in electric utility planning, engineering, management, or operations
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, Energy Systems, or a related field
