Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Civil/Site team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for project management, leadership, profitability, and client management for the Civil/Site project design team.
Responsibilities- Project management of land development plans, stormwater management, water and sanitary sewer, soil erosion and sediment control design
- Managing multiple projects and workload with competing deadlines
- Quality control
- Regulatory agency permitting
- Proposal scope and budget preparation
- Financial management including invoice preparation and accounts receivable
- Scheduling of projects so that they succeed
- Properly manage clients and bring in new clientele as well
- Hiring, mentoring and training new staff to build a successful Civil/Site team
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of site design experience
- PE license is required
- Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations
- Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading and other site development related designs
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
- Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment
- Construction oversight experience a plus
- Dedicated, responsive, and organized
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
